Waited. That's what Peter did as the girl looked from his to the water in his hand and back. It was obvious that she still didn't know wheither or not to trust him. He was fine with that. He didn't exactly trust her, not that he needed to right then. He wasn't a threat to her, and she wasn't one to him. The only reason he was drugging her in the first place was to help her. She seemed pretty stubborn, he knew she wouldn't take the time to rest out of her own free will, so he was just helping her along. She might not thank him, but it was enough that she would know that he was just trying to help and would eventually get over it. Finally, she took the bottle and sipped. Peter let his hand fall back to his side.
She sipped. He watched. There wasn't much else he could do at the moment. When she realized what he had done, her eyes glared intensly at him, and he accepted it cooly. "That was a dirty trick." she said. I know. he replied silently. At least she was smart enough to lay back before the effects got to bad and she'd fall and smack her head against the hard earth. As her eyelids met and her breathing deepened as it did when you fall asleep, he unwrapped his cloak from his shoulders and layed it beside her incase she was anything like him when he slept. If it suddenly got cold, he'd reach out and grab his cloak while still compleatly asleep. Not that he actually ever slept as deep as this. He always seemed to sleep with one eye open. Turning, he picked up all the bloody clothing and vanished into the trees.
* * *
Down a worn out trail and through a line of trees, Peter knelt beside a shallow river. In his hands he was holding a bloody article of clothing that was held beneath the cool water's surface. Beside him lay the cloth he'd used to stop Autumn's bleeding and it appeared to be clean now, although it still had a red tinge to it. On his other side was his sweater. The top half of his body was bare. His thin stomach curved in as he bent over the water's edge, working to get the stain out of his torn t-shirt. If you looked at him from the front you could see the outline his six-pack and how broad his shoulders were. From behind, you could see the tracable lines where his shoulder blades met his spine which followed down to the small of his back. On his shoulders were four large scars each, one for each finger it seemed, where nails had been dug fearsly and mercilessly into his skin. Not something he enjoyed remembering. His shaggy hair hung over his grey eyes as he worked, shadowing his pale face. At first, the brute didn't notice Autumn walking down the path, nearing him with every staggering step. He'd know soon. He always knew. Besides, they were both in for a little surprise.

Crimson gaze narrowed as she spotted Peter's shape down by a large pond, but Autumn didn't move from her place on the trail. Thousands of possible revenge schemes ran through her head, like sneaking up on him and pushing him to the murky depths of the water. Oh yes, that would be great! The mere thought of him glaring at her with a half surprised look still half hidden in his gaze was enough to make the assassin grin. For now, pushing Peter into the icy waters sounded perfectly great. But as she neared the boy, she spotted the scar on his shoulder blade. Her gaze tore away from the scars on his back; they must have been a dark memory of his past. Something that she knew she could never get Peter to admit was his past. She was curious yes, but if his past was indeed dark it would be painful to relive it again. All thoughts of revenge gone for the moment as the thoughts of leaving him like that crossed her mind. Yes. She had already waisted so much of his time and supplies and now it was time for her to be leaving. She could collect her duties and be shipped off to some other battle again. It was the life of a soldier/assassin. Never home and always standing the front line in battle and she loved it. Turning away from Peter, she silently made her way deeper into the right side of the forest. She would eventually find a village where she could buy a room for the night and collect more bandages.
She hadn't even bothered to waste time with glancing over her shoulder or even telling Peter good-bye. She was already endangering his life with her presence anyway. After all, she was an assassin and hated amongst both Kamenwati and Jasiri's people. An outcast if you will. Pulling her sword over her right shoulder and placing it back into it's sheath on her back, she fought her way through the dense forest(jungle time lol). Though, a rustle in the bushes had made her freeze in mid-step and crimson eyes narrow to meet whomever it was following her. Hand already fingering the hilt of her sword, and left hand on her dagger she prepared for almost anything to leap out of the brush. Though moments later, her tesion was wasited as a doe leapt from it's palce within the brush and darted out through the clearing with the pond. Heaving a sigh, she turned again to the forest and her 'mission' to find a village where she could at least send a messanger to Jasiri about the lost battle.

Only when Autumn entered the clearing along the banks of the river did Peter know of her presence. He expected her to say something sarcastic or atleast try to get him back for the sleeping pills. But insted, he heard her turn away and head back into the forest, her footsteps fading with each passing moment. He didn't really care. Autumn didn't seem the type to say thanks, and he could care less. The sooner she got to a village, the sooner she'd get the help she needed and the sooner his life would go back to somewhat normal.
After a few minutes, he pulled the torn pieces that remained of his t-shirt and dropped it in a heap beside the cloth. Then reached into the water and scooped some up in his cupped hands before running it through his tangled hair and over his face. He did this a few more times before wiping the wet away and shaking his hair dry. Then he heard something moving in the trees. He didn't assume it was just Autumn getting lost, or that it was an animal. He'd raised himself to assume the worst. It made life easier and kept you alert. Turning his head, he peered into the trees, using the keen sences he'd inheirated from his father. There was more the one pair of footsteps, and they seemed to be creeping. Farther ahead was Autumn making her way through the dense trees. It was then he realized it was an ambush. Snatching his sweat shirt from the ground and tugging it over his head, he was in the trees after only a few long strides, the shadows hiding him.

His movements from the pond made Autumn turn again, curious to what Peter was doing but before she had spotted the boy he disappeared into the forest. The female's eyes rolled at this, but still her hand reached the hilt of her sword again. Her eyes narrowed and senses sharp for whatever or who ever was in the forest with her, after all Peter wasn't really the type to rush into the forest just because he was fast. But she said nothing and didn't bother to wait or look for Peter. If he was planning on saving her life again, she’d have who ever it was following her dead by the time he got there. Or so she hoped. She only allowed herself hours to rest her wounds instead of days so her wound was still relatively fresh and with the slightest bump it would bleed out again and from the blood she lost earlier and the rate she would be bleeding at, she couldn’t afford that. Finally, after minutes in the forest she emerged into a small clearing where trees were replaced by long swaying grasses. The perfect place to rid herself of the groggy feeling left by the sleeping pills and to check if anyone had indeed followed her here. Snap! The sounds of fallen branches cracking under foot had set another grin on the teen’s face. Already she knew it wasn’t Peter that was following her, for he had been quieter in his movements and wouldn’t have allowed a mistake such as that. Brushing a stray blonde hair from her face, Autumn turned to face her follower her sword already drawn and eyes narrowed. During her wait she could guess who was after her, but there were so many that wanted her dead it would be nearly impossible. Her grip on her sword tightening as the sounds of footsteps advanced. Just hours ago she was in a battle and had been badly injured, so what would this battle bring? More injuries, her capture or even her death? All if it depended on her attacker and who was sending for her.
Her grin melted to a disappointed frown as two bandits made their appearance at the edge of the forest. This entire time she had been hoping for another assassin, an elite soldier or even Kamenwati herself and yet she was being followed by a group of bandits! She’d have no choice but to kill them, or give them a few scars to remember her by. But could this battle injure her? With her already injured body could she actually die in fighting a band of bandits? She’d have to wait and see the outcome. Though the bandits made no move for the teen girl….yet, making it obvious they awaited the command from their leader. Responding to this, Autumn remained still until the leader made his appearance and then she could take him out and send the rest running scared or enraged. Crimson glare met that of the bandits’ as she waited for the leader to come from hiding.

Peter's strides lengthened, letting what you could call his sixth sense guide him toward the theives that had surrounded whom he believed was Autumn. Meanwhile, the bandit's king, so to speak, gave his followers th signal to attack. Stepping foward, they grinned menacingly at her while searching for valuable possesions they could snatch before rushing toward her without any mercy. The leader smiled a snaggle-toothed grin, looking the beautiful girl over with much interest. But she was injured, and since it was several to one, she'd probably die anyway. Too bad.
Jumping her, one grabbed for her sword and another for her dagger, hoping to get rid of the weapons she would most definatly try to use against them. Plus, they'd probably be worth a pretty penny or two. One tried to snatch her hat from behind and another grabbed the bloody front of her shirt, not realizing how much of a mistake he had just made.

Her sword drawn from its sheath the second the orders were given and already, her left hand held the hilt of her dagger. Though she rarely killed humans, she had no second thought of ridding the world of these thieves. Her sword swung for the first one on the scene, the thief that went for her sword. Silver blade turned crimson as the sword hit that flesh. Blood poured from the man as he fell to the ground, his throat slit by the sword. After a few moments of thrashing in the soft grasses, his body went completely limp. The light soon left the thief’s and the body went cold. Within seconds, Autumn had killed this thief without even wasting much of her energy taking him out. Though, no grin cut the female’s face over this small victory. There was still three more she needed to kill before she could take the king. Her fist met the face of the thief that went for her daggers, though she let him live for a moment longer. There was still the one that had a hold of her shirt. Her dagger cut deep into the man’s shoulder, pouring more blood onto the clearing floor. Cut and bleeding, but not dead the thief drove his fist into her side where she had covered with bandages. Autumn instantly fell to her knees as fist met her still relatively fresh wound. A grunt of pain followed her actions shortly, but she wasn’t going down without taking as much of these scum as possible. Before she could do anything else, one of the men drew one of his daggers. The dagger of the thief dug deep into her right shoulder, cutting flesh and bone as it was drove in and then ripped out. Her dagger slashed blindly out at the thief that had hit her, the blade driven deep into his stomach and then pulled down. Blood soaked down Autumn’s arms as she easily cut through the man before her. But the other two had already sought revenge. Now that she was down, they could easily kick her and take whatever else she had. Her fight was up, now that she had been injured and that her old wound had been reopened. Already, she shouldn’t have been walking with the amount of blood she lost but now? If she lost another pint of blood she would black out. Vision already blurring again as blood dripped from her cut on her shoulder and dyed the bandages red.
The fact that Peter was still in the forest hadn't even crossed her mind as her dagger slashed out again. Even if he was out there, would he know of this battle going on? More importantly why was she even thinking of Peter as she fought just now? She could handled herself!! She didn't need him remember. Yeesh, the guy saved her life once already! But right now, no matter how much she denied it...she needed his help again.

As if he could hear her thoughts, Peter lunged himself out of the shadowed forest right on que. Soon he was atop on of the bandits and was holding his throat down. He raised his arm, his hand balled into a fist, and let it drop with great speed and force. The breath was knocked out of the theif's body and he gasped helplessly for air. This gave Peter the short time he needed to wrestle the dagger away from the man and drive it into his chest. The brute sputtered, then fell limp beneath Peter's weight.
From behind, another one of the men attacked, leaving the girl to the last of them. He screamed a battle cry, but alerted Peter to his presence. Whirling on his heel to face the bandit, he struck him with his newly equipt dagger clean into his stomach. The theif cried out painfully and fell to his knees. Peter didn't bother with him anymore, knowing he'd probably be dead soon anyway, or atleast he wouldn't mess with them anymore. The leader had made his way to Autumn and was attempting to kick her in the side with his heavy foot. He didn't notice Peter and was dumb-struck when he was grabbed by the front of his shirt and felt seering pain when the knife was sliced into his arm.
He turned on Peter and jumped him, snagging his own dagger from it's holester. Peter fell back onto the ground, but kept the ring leader's hands away from any vital part of his body that the sword could be driven into. Struggling beneath the weight of the pirate, he snarled, exposing his long canine teeth, and his eyes ran red. Taken back, the theif staggered his attack, giving Peter the advantage. Thrusting forward, the teen threw the bandit onto his back and got to his feet. Cowering away from the vampire, he scrambled to his feet and dove into the trees, running like Rasputin or the devil himself (and there really wasn't much difference) was chasing after him.
Peter snorted with disgust and turned back to Autumn whom was still on the ground. Walking toward her, his eyes returned to their cool grey color. He bent down beside her to look at her wounds, then shook his head, shaggy hair flying, and hid his teeth once more. He was already exposed to her, so it didn't matter if she saw them. He just preferred not to display them infront of everybody.

The thieves had her already, her life could be lost in this battle but she wasn’t going down without a fight. Her sword already in her grip again, she prepared to take out another thief but before anything else happened, the sounds of someone approaching had made her gaze avert from the men to whoever was entering the scene. At first she saw no one, but the thieves were already leaving or more like being pulled away from her. Autumn tried her hand at getting to her feet again, but before she could do much a heavy boot met rib as the leading thief aimed a blow to her ribs. Autumn doubled over in pain, but before anymore damage could be done to her the leader was being jerked away. Her gaze followed him, just in time to see Peter being pinned by the leader. Her right hand gripped another dagger, preparing to help Peter out if needed. Before she could aim the dagger at the leading thief, something had changed….Peter. His eyes turned the very color of hers, a deep crimson and his teeth grew to sharp fangs.
Though her vision slightly blurred from blood loss, she could still see things perfectly within feet from her and so she didn’t miss a second of Peter’s battle. For the second time today, he had showed up from no where and ended up saving her very life. But that wasn’t the point. This entire time she had thought Peter as human, but after this battle she knew better. He was a half-breed, walking with a foot in each world. Not dead and not alive, not human nor vampire but both. To many humans, the very thought of being in a half-breed’s presence made them shudder but Autumn didn’t even flinch. In fact, she didn’t even fear Peter and come to think of it, she didn’t think any more or less of him. She did have suspicions on his origin but she never put them to voice. Now she knew the truth about her savior and yet she didn’t care. Her entire life, she had been battling vampires and dark angels so being in one’s presence wasn’t going to scare her.
As Peter knelt beside her again to check her wounds and whatnot, he slowly returned to his old self again. Appearing more and more human by the second and finally, he was human again. Though shocked by his true blood, she didn’t flinch away from him as most humans would. Her gaze merely met his for a moment before turning away to the forest beyond them. What now? From the looks of it, she would be with Peter for a few more days until she was able to walk away and fight off anyone else she found in this forest.

Running his finger's lightly over her bandaged side, he tried to identify any misplaced ribs. Luckily, it didn't seem anything had been damaged any more then before. But he'd have to redo the whole process of stopping the bleeding and putting new bandages on. Hopefully this time he wouldn't have to drug her to make her get some rest. "Can you breath alright?" he asked, sliding his arms beneath her shoulders and her knees and getting slowly to his feet, careful not to fall forward.
Waiting for her answer, he headed back into the forest to the same clearing they'd been in earlier. Perhaps once he'd helped her out he should looked for the village nearby. If it wasn't too far, he could simply bring her there, if not, he could atleast restock up on the supplies he was running low on. Anti-infection ointment came to mind. Even once Autumn finally left for good, it'd probably be something good to have.

((Here goes a nothing post. A post of nothing and sucky muse. Im in a bad mood...live with it. Dawnz...Screw the grammer and the spelling in this post. Because seriously.........bad bad mood.))
At first, no reply came from the injured warrior only a mere nod because that was all she could do as she was lifted from the ground. Her teeth gritted against each other again to stop any sounds of objections coming from her mouth. Her gaze narrowing again to hide any actual emotion of pain. No. That would be admiting to weakness in front of someone and that was one of the many things that Autumn couldn't do. Finally she took a deep breath, almost as if she was checking the answer and then she spoke "Yes. I can breath perfectly fine. And...." She began, her voice showing only the slightest amount of her pain. No matter how many years of training, and of injuries she had never really been able to completely hide her pain when she spoke. Perhaps it was a weakness, a flaw if you will or maybe it was just the art of being human. Either way, Autumn was both flawed and human. Her past and her attitude allowed the teen countless flaws and on top of all of that, she was human....her biggest flaw of all. "And by the way, I can walk on my own" Her reply came finally, finally finishing off her sentence. This time she was telling the truth, she could walk on her own after all she merely had the wind knocked out of her....along with a few cuts and scrapes along the way. In fact, she would be able to last a few more hours....just long enough to make it into town and to where ever.
Wait. The nearest place to this one would be a village and most villages didn't have hotels where she could stay. They merely had the essentials when it came to healing up after a battle. She would have to stay with Peter until she was well enough to fight on her own again.........that is if he would allow her to stay. After all, he was used to being on his own all the time and definatly not used to being around a female. She just might have worn down her welcome already. But how could she bring this up in conversation? She couldn't just come out and say it, that would go against her.....her believes and besides, Peter was probally already expecting to to admit her need of shelter. Finally, a sigh escaped her lips. She would have to bring it up sometime wouldn't she? Might as well be now rather then later. "So. What's your next move Peter?" She questioned, turning her crimson gaze to his. After all, there were countless things he could do from this point: kill her, leave her here, actually heal her again, take her to some village and the list continued to grow. So what was his next move? And what was hers? How in the hell could she come out and admit her need for shelter, especially since he was more then likely already expecting it. She would know. When the time came, she would ask and he would answer. Almost as if everything was already planned out ahead of time.

The dead branches of trees swung to and fro, cracking and rustling as if laughing at them. As if the battle had amused them. As if they knew something that they didn't. Silence could be so deadly. Figurativly andliterally. A branch pulled back to slap Peter's cheek. He winced and kept going. Finally she answered her, her voice giving away her discomfort. Since she claimed she was fine, he continued down the cut path.
After a short pause, she repeated the statement she'd used hours ago when he'd first found her battle shot in a clearing over half a mile away from there. He rolled his eyes and snorted softly, not being able to help letting atleast a little emotion show, since he hadn't said or shown much the entire day. He was a teenager after all. "That was what you said the first time." he replied, a sharpened edge to his voice suggesting something like irony or sarcasm. He didn't break his pace.
Already planning ahead, he almost didn't catch what she said next. He'd been thinking about redoing her bandages, then after a little rest, finding the village to snag some of that infection preventer stuff. Then tomarrow when they were both rested up, and if they were still alive, he'd show her the village and she could find a place to stay or any help she needed and he could be on his way. Wherever his way was leading him. He wasn't quite sure yet.
"So. What's your next move Peter?" she asked. Snapping away from his previous thoughts, he considered his answer. And then he replied, "I'm going to check your wounds, and find a village while you rest." That was exactly what he was going to do. Reaching the spot he'd first helped her out. He set her down carefully, then turned to grab the items he'd had out just hours before and returned.
He considered how he would open the other bandages. He ran his tongue over his fangs beneath his lips, as if fingering an option. While most of the time he used his teeth to tear or open things, he knew this probably wasn't one of those times. He'd have to take his chances with ripping it by hand since he didn't posses a pair of scissors. Not bothering to wait, since she was already in pain and this couldn't do much worse, he tore the bandage in two. To his slight surprise, the wound had only bled a little, then stopped on it's own. Except for a few new bruises along her rib cage, not much had changed. Still, the white wraps were now soaked through and needed replacing, so he set to work.

((Again. No grammer or spelling here and obviously this is going to suck since...well, its by me))
How could she possibly object as he carried her through the forest once agian and gently layed her in the place he had patched her up before this little scrap. But this time, she was already done bleeding and mere bruises were left by the leading thief like she said before, she was fine. She hardly even flinched when the bandages were torn in two and Peter began to replace them with new ones, however she didn't miss the tiniest glisten of his fangs as his gaze fell to the bandaged area. He is half vampire, but.....was he seriously thinking of blood? She dimissed the thought completely. After all, if Peter had the heart to help her out now she doubted that his vampire blood ruled over the human blood. It only took her a few moments to catch her breath and she was ready to go. She'd be fine and she could rest when she got to the village. That way, she could be off playing hero again whilst Peter did whatever back at the mainland. Her gaze turned away from Peter again to the darkning skies above. Of course! She had completely forgotten any sense of time while being here. After all, it was already noon when Peter first found her and then hours later she awoke after he drugged her and then the fight. All of these events took much of the time away from the day. Already the soft azure sky began to melt into a darking indigo color. Night was settling in and quickly, though Peter would have an easy time finding his way through the ebony world, she would have some time. Though she was trained in attacking in dark, she was only trained to see the heat of one's body in the dark and nothing else. NOW what? She had no intention of staying the night with Peter and obviously, she wasn't going to have him lead her through the lands.
Perhaps that was exactly what she needed, a guide. He could point her in the right direction and then watch as she stumbled off into the night. She'd find some sort of town or village eventually wouldn't she? Or she could run into one of Kamenwati's patorls, that......that battle could very well be the end of her life as she knew it. Her only way now was to follow Peter to the village, repay him there and yes of course find shelter. Despite a small grunt of protest, Autumn pulled herself back to her feet. Her blonde hair falling from its place tucked beneath the hat. But none of that mattered right now, she needed to repay Peter for his troubles and then be off. She could avenge her family later with Kamenwati....wait. A V E N G E, that word seemed so familiar but why? The thought finally hit her, she still needed to take revenge for being drugged earlier! Tiny, but still of existance, a grin crept across the teen's face. She would do what any teenage girl would do to a guy that had offended her. Her crimson gaze fell to Peter again, her grin disappearing once again. "Alright. Point me in the direction of the nearest village" She knew Peter wouldn't just merely give her the directions, but instead stand to lead to some village. Perfect eh? She could get her revenge now....before she left him for war....

"Hmph." he laughed softly as if she'd told a joke or had given an insane remark. Tieing off the last of the bandages, he gave it a small but purposeful tug to tighten it. Then looked her in the eyes. "Not gonna happen." he replied, humor hidden lightly in his voice. It was no lie that he was starting to enjoy tourmenting her. Peter was pretty sure he'd pissed her off with the sleeping pills, not to mention helping her and carrying her even when she denied she needed it thought she so obviously did, twice.
And now of all things, he wasn't going to tell her where the next village or town was. But he had a good reason behind it, whatever she might think. She needed the overnight rest and, as much as she refused it, protection. She'd have died back there all for leaving before she was ready if he hadn't shown up. He saves her life twice, and she doesn't even show any gratitude. Not that he cared for thank yous. He didn't expect one from her, especially now.
Leaning closer, he smirked. "You need rest and help. And since I'm already here, I'm gonna make sure you get it one way or another." She knew what he meant. If he had to, he find a way to drug her again. She needed to realize that accepting help was okay even for an army brat like her.

That bastard. He was loving this, every single moment he had power over her.....he had her in this clearing he was using it to mock her, to torture her. This was only making her temper shorter and more defiant toward the male, after all she wasn't accepting any sort of drink or food from him again. Not after he had put her down with his first trick. No matter how much Peter pissed her off, or how much she had wanted to haul out an punch the kid in the face, she remained completely still. She would get her revenge when she was well again. Her steady gaze hid all emotion from the male now and instead merely stared coolly back at him. Of course, she would have to find some sort of revenge that brought her as much pleasure as he was getting now.
“That reminds me….” Autumn remarked, turning to face Peter again. She had again, almost forgotten about repaying him for slipping those pills into her water like that. Without any warning or even the slightest hint to her next move, her right hand rose and, just as quick as she was with her daggers and sword, she brought it across Peter’s face. No, not an all out punch or even a well planned out plan of revenge but it did bring another smirk on the girl’s face. No matter how small, it had brought amusement to her and it showed too, in her crimson gaze and even in the disappearing smirk. Sure, Peter could hit her back but that would turn this quiet evening into a slug-fest leaving each other to actually duke it out. But, Autumn knew that would never happen. Peter was much to much of a gentleman to ever strike her...wasn't he? Though duking it out with the half breed would bring even more amusement to her, she didn't like the fact that she was already injured and he'd win easily. Perhaps some other time.
With her little explosion out of the way, she knelt back to the ground agian. There was no use in fighting and leaving now, she was injured and night was falling quickly cloaking the world in shadows. It could prove fatal if she wandered off on her own now. Damn him. He knew this too and he took pleasure as she slowly gave up. She knew she needed his help if she were to survive to face Kamenwati and her soldiers another day but she would never admit such a thing. She was an assassin. She was feared by many high ranking vampires and dark angels. They knew her only as the shadowed warrior and the fact that they were dead if thier name was written on her scroll. She worked alone since day one so why would she change now for him? True, he saved her live but that didn't mean she owed him anything. After all, she never asked to be saved.
Either way, it was conversation time!! She needed to figure out just how much Peter knew of the war and of Kamenwati and her hitmen. After all, it was her job as assassin/spy to find out such information. Casually, she turned her gaze back up to the male. "So, Peter. You seem to be a warrior.....so why is it that you do not wish to take part in the war?" First things first, find out why he wasn't fighting for Jasiri then more questions. Hey, humans were always curious creatures........

He could tell this was pure torture to Autumn. It gave him all the more pleasure to see that the stubborn warrior needed him whether she'd admit it or not. A cold hand clutched his gut tight within his body. Peter knew he shouldn't be enjoying this as much as he was, but he just couldn't help laughing to himself at the sassy solider's constant need to be saved. Perhaps it was a want for attention. Ha. he thought silently, laughing at the idea.
Before he knew what happened, Autumn turned back to Peter and slapped him right across the cheek. His head turned away quickly because of reflex, causing his teeth fall from it's previous hiding place beneath the curl of his lips. For a moment he stared that way in awe at what she had just done. Then he slowly looked at her again, seeing her eyes dance with satisfaction. His first thought was to punch her. But he wasn't going to hit an injured girl, that had way too much advantage and was too easy. Besides, it wasn't right. So before he could stop and talk himself out of it, he slapped her with the back of hand across her unscratched cheek, but not as hard as he could have since he knew that she'd only done it to get back at him. He smirked playfully, the fact that he knew she wouldn't have been expecting this only made his eyebrows rise to emphasis his own satisfaction. He leaned back on his feet and stood before she could try to hit him again, stepping out of the way incase she tried to trip him or something. He wouldn't put it past her to try.
Then she spoke again. "Warrior's a nice way to put it." he replied, folding his arms over his chest. "I don't pick sides." he answered her simply. "No one's going to win anyway." scoffed Peter. He shrugged, his smirk already having faded into the placid look he'd worn before, and he teeth back in place where no one could see them.
